W&S was selected as part of a DKS team to provide data collecting, processing and summarizing multimodal traffic data, notably associated with "big data" sources and cloud computing platforms and dashboards; travel demand forecasting with Emme, Cube and TransCAD, Aimsun; traffic operations with a meso modeling system Dynameq and Level-of-Service (LOS) analyses with Synchro and HCS software; traffic simulation modeling with Aimsun and Simtraffic; and preparing Traffic Management Plan (TMP) materials services.
TRAVEL DEMAND FORECASTING AND TRAFFIC OPERATIONS FOR THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
2017 - 2018
W&S was responsible for processing and summarizing multimodal traffic data in Synchro, developing a travel demand and forecasting traffic volumes for 2016 and 2040 with Emme and developing the City’s parcel-based land use data. This model was used for the Oyster Point Development project and the City Specific General Plan. The model was extensively calibrated to the existing conditions. The volumes were used for traffic operation analysis in Synchro.
URBAN TRANSPORT CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT - I2 TRANSPORT DEMAND FORECAST (URBAN TRANSPORT PLANNING)
W&S was selected by Asia Development Bank to improve transportation capacity of Ulaanbaatar of Mongolia urban transport agencies in planning and managing urban transport in an integrated and sustainable way. W&S was contracted to coordinate and cooperate with the team leader in the preparation of the reporting requirements, conduct workshops and training, survey specifications, model specifications, and the model developments.
TRAFFIC DATA COLLECTION SERVICE AND TRAVEL TIME STUDIES FOR MTC PASS

W&S has been collecting the traffic counts for an extensive number of intersections and performed the transportation data services for the MTC PASS projects for the last three cycles. In addition, W&S has performed the video/GPS based travel time runs for before-and-after studies for 4 corridors including Mathilda Ave. Corridor in Sunnyvale, California.
